Simply Gorgeous and VERY RARE (first we've ever seen!), Original 1901 French COLOR Canadian Newspaper featuring the upcoming worldwide anticipated fight/boxing match between Jack Johnson and Jim Jeffries.    June 25, 1910 "La Presse" Newspaper Page "The Fist Champions" - With Jack Johnson/Jim Jeffries.

Offered is a rare front page to the June 25, 1910 edition the Montreal based "La Presse" newspaper featuring American Boxing Greats!.  The headline reads, "Les Champions du Poing" or roughly translated "The Fist Champions" along with portraits of past champions like John L. Sullivan, Corbett, Fitzsimmons, Burns, Jeffries and Jack Johnson and Tex Rikard.   Also seen is a scene from the 1908 Johnson Vs. (Canadian) Burns championship fight and two large, full-figure illustrations of Jack Johnson and Jim Jeffries regarding "The Fight of The Century" that happened on July 4, 1910, ten days after this paper was published... The left edge has been trimmed but there are no major signs of any damage. How few of these century old pages could still exist - probably no more than a handful.
