Considered by many to be the epic horror film and certainly a ground breaking Hollywood masterpiece!  The original one sheets have sold in excess of $200,000!   Here is an extremely Rare 1946 re-release Gorgeous lobby Card with that spectacular border art of Kong with a great set of fanged teeth and totally crushing one of those pesky airplanes while holding fast to his lady love, Fay Wray.? !   Even better artwork than the original 1933.   This rare lobby card has appeared on the market only a couple times in the past 20 years.  We had one a few years ago, but it required restoration and the colors were a bit faded.    As you can see this 100% UN-restored 72+ year old gem has beautiful bright colors.  In very good condition with just expected border wear and pinholes on corner areas for theater display.

One of the best things about making one of the top ten horror movies of all time is you got to reissue it every four to six years to a completely new audience and to the delight of those who simply wanted to see it again on the big screen. The good news for collectors is that there was a new ad campaign for each issue, providing more images, fresh art, and more opportunities to obtain real Hollywood materials from a proven fan favorite. The lobby cards from the 1946 reissue of the film features new art of Kong with a great set of fanged teeth and totally crushing one of those pesky airplanes while holding fast to his lady love, Fay Wray.
