At VERY RARE times in history the documented provenance of an amazing encounter with greatness, can not only make the difference between ordinary and extraordinary, but can virtually put you into that time, place and experience.    Like a wonderful dream you don't want to wake up from....   Imagine if the recent daVinci painting that sold for $450 million had such priceless documented provenance to solidify it's authenticity?

If you're a classic Hollywood and/or Three Stooges fan,  get ready for the ultimate ride!

“I contacted these 3 comedians backstage of the Stanley Theater just before they went on the stage for their late afternoon performance. Curly Howard went into a tap dance after writing his name.”… ~ Original owner and recipient of this amazing treasure you're about to be introduced to below....

You’ve probably heard the phase “something like that only comes along once in a lifetime”?.  I am sure the two final bidders for Leonardo  daVinci’s “Salvator Mundi,”  were thinking exactly that as they continued to try and own daVinci's  historical relic for $450 Million this past Wednesday evening to set the world record (br FAR) for the most ever paid for a work of art or Any collectible. ..

Well, for you Three Stooges and Classic Hollywood lovers , this is one of those extremely rare, once-in-a-lifetime moments.   An exciting, astonishing Stooges Artifact, of which you’ve never seen or will Ever see the likes of again.    What makes a masterpiece painting like Picasso’s “Mistress” or daVinci’s “Mona Lisa” are multiple ideal near miraculous variables coming together in one subject.

And for nearly 40 years Ive been on the lookout for such a Three Stooges related find!   And  this is the piece Ive always had in mind.

From the RARE Acquired In-Person Certified Authentic DATED signatures, Extremely RARE early style long Full-name signatures (i.e. Jerry Curly Howard), to the beautiful bold vintage fountain pen ink, to the fun arrows they each drew, to the Extraordinary provenance at the bottom, This is by Far the most Amazing Stooges Signed piece Ive ever seen in decades of collecting!   If you were to spend a lifetime looking for the ultimate set of Authentic Three Stooges autographs, this is one that stands in a league of its own.    And on top of all the most extraordinary things that make this the incredible  is the unbelievable provenance written at the bottom:

“I contacted these 3 comedians backstage of the Stanley Theatre just before they went on the stage for their late afternoon performance. Curly Howard went into a tap dance after writing his name.”…

In 37 years collecting I’ve had a number of Stooges autographs, but never of this caliber.  As a matter of fact, I've never seen ANYONE offer Genuine Autographs of the Original Three Stooges  that comes close to this.

This is what dreams are made of!

Vintage fountain pen signatures, “Jerry Curly Howard,” “Larry (Fuzzy) Fine,” and “Moe (Bangs) Howard, 7-21-36,” on an off-white 8 x 11 album page, with each Stooge drawing an arrow to their image on an affixed newspaper photo of the three of them clowning around with a Soap Box racer. Collector’s ink notations to bottom of page reads, “I contacted these 3 comedians backstage of Stanley Theatre just before they went on the stage for their late afternoon performance. Curly Howard went into a tap dance after writing his name.”
NOTE: Signature and note of provenance at bottom apparently signed with same vintage fountain pen.

In fine condition, with light toning to top portion of page and toning to news photo. Signatures featuring the Stooges' early, lesser-known nicknames are very uncommon.
