Disney's SNOW WHITE Vintage Movie Poster one sheet 1940

Original Vintage Old Movie Film Theater Posters Movie Disney Memorabilia Collectibles For Sale
Walt Disney's "SNOW WHITE, 1940
Original Old Vintage Movie Poster One Sheet (27x41")

This Walt Disney theatrical promotion poster for “Snow White”  represents a puzzling  phenomenon.  Namely, a Very early (First) Re-release just a couple years after the original 1937 release.  In our 42 years collecting classic Hollywood we have never seen this Disney treasure (until now) and have only known of an official 1943 release, which has always been considered the First re-release of Snow White.

This RARE dated Gem  (Rare is an understatement), clearly proves Walt Disney snuck in a little known re-release in 1940, using his feature film success to promote some of his other 1930s short subject animation films.

NOTE:  After extensive research this Unknown 1940 “Snow White” re-release is not recorded anywhere that we could find.  Hence, I imagine Disney historians would love to get their hands on this!

A truly iconic piece of history this Extremely Rare pone sheet has been unknown to us until now.    With terrific artwork of the “Seven Dwarfs” and the other Disney creations at the bottom.

In good condition for its age, but has experienced a bit of wear over its 83 years of life.  Remains intact in its original Un-Restored state.     The new owner could have it linen backed to correct the fold wear, minor tears and small holes along the original fold line areas.

How could any serious Disney collection pass this up ?  It won’t last long and you can forget ever seeing another, which is Highly unlikely.
