John Wayne & Wallace Ford ("Freaks") Vintage Autographs - 1950
Here is a truly rare find. From the estate of Tony Santoro. Vintage album page signed by John Wayne in fountain pen with RARE
"Freaks" star Wallace Ford (died 1966) on reverse. Measures 6" x 4.5" in
mint condition. This and several others autographs were signed to Tony. A beautiful John Wayne vintage fountain pen signature from 1950, "Good Luck Tony John Wayne". Wallace Ford, an extremely RARE Autograph (the top Autograph auction house has Never sold a Wallace Ford signature) pens, "To You Tony Most Sincerely and always Wallace Ford 4/17/50"
Tony, the recipient of the autographs, was the son of Jack Santoro. Jack acquired the sigs for his son and would come home to show him "who he got" in the album. He did a lot more movies than listed on imdb but was one of those fringe guys who's pals put him in movies as a favor but never really made it
