Authentically Autographed Bogart photos are not only rare but highly desirable and valuable.  And this vintage one is a beauty.  Bogie loved his dogs.

Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Bogart, a cigarette in his hand, petting a large black dog, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Gertrude, Best wishes, Humphrey Bogart.” In very good condition, with scattered mild soiling, a couple stray ink marks to top left, and small puncture to Bogart’s leg none of which affects the beautiful vintage fountain pen signature. NOTE:  Be very cautious as many (if not most) of the Humphrey Bogart autographs online are forgeries. They are often priced much below market value, the seller has a SUSPICIOUS high inventory (REAL Bogart autographs are very rare), seller will have unrealistic groupings of Bogart with other rare signatures (like with other signatures from Casablanca). And most importantly, the suspicious autographs are NOT certified by a leading authentication service like PSA or JSA and the seller is not likely to state he/she Guarantees it will pass such industry recognized authentication. Or the seller may have excuses why he does NOT offer a lifetime guarantee of authenticity certificate (COA).  Finally, the seller is most surely NOT a UACC Registered Dealer (dealers with a history is selling fake autographs are not admitted into the UACC or are banned).
