Judy Garland as Dorothy with Tin-Man & The Scarecrow

Terrific ORIGINAL 1939 Vintage photo from the set of what many believe to be the greatest movie of all time.   Has some minor border tears and rough handling, back looks to have been glued at one point.  That said, what an extraordinary image of the three main characters!   As a matter of fact this is a particularly rare image that I have not seen before, and in ORIGINAL form, exceedingly rare and desirable.  And slightly larger than the typical movie photo, 8.5.x10.5".
Reverse has great authenticity provenance with vintage studio film stamp and snipe.   Paper is also reminiscent of 1930s photo paper and photography.

Appears photo was glued to a studio book of other photo storage for decades with remnants of vintage glue stains on back.   Photo has handling wear with minor creasing and very small border tears.

A Vintage 1939 Original Photograph depicting Judy Garland, Ray Bolger and Jack Haley creating magic on the silver screen eight decades ago. This is a scene from Metro-Goldywn-Mayer's film "The Wizard of Oz" featuring Dorothy, The Tin Man and the Scarecrow. The offered photo is in good condition with handling wear and small insignificant border tears from being used over the years. It is however a desirable vintage original and unique photo issued by the studio at the time it was released back in 1939. A timeless classic from Hollywood's Golden era, and what many believe to be the greatest film ever made.   With a mesmerizing  magic that Hollywood has been unable to duplicate to this day, nearly 80 years later.
