Beautiful bold ball pint pen John Wayne signature on off white album page.   Extraordinary provenance that comes with this historic autograph.   I tis Very RARE to obtain pr find (at any other dealer or auction house) such impeccable provenance as is included with this terrific John Wayne autograph

John Wayne signed album page that was obtained by noted author and historian Jack Tillmany at the Academy Awards April 8th 1975.

An eminent regional collector, Mr. Tillmany has amassed thousands of photographs of San Francisco streetcars, California movie theaters, and over ten thousand publicity photos of Hollywood actors and actresses. Additional Provenance:    Mr Tillmany has signed a letter of Provenance which reads as follows:

"This is to certify that I met John Wayne, and got his autograph,  in the lobby of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles CA, at the 47th Annual Academy Awards, 8 April 1975, which I attended. It was on that occasion that Wayne presented Howard Hawks with an honorary Academy Award.
