Striking image of Duke offering interesting very personal note to recepient: "It’s later than you think".  One can only wonder what Wayne was referring to..? RARE Color signed photo.

It is also interesting to mention that John Wayne apparently became more humble later in life and thus appreciated his fans more in the 1970’s. Maybe success with his first battle with cancer caused him to have a new perspective on life. (which would unfortunately get him for good in 1979).  Most of the genuine autographed John Wayne photos on the market which he usually dated are from the mid 1970’s.
