One of my fondest childhood memories was, in my house you could not pair together two bigger stars in a movie than John Wayne and James Stewart.   It was simply a momentous experience.    And this gorgeous three sheet brings that magic to life!   The first three sheet e have ever acquired or even seen for this title.  Very Rare and not likely to show up on the market in the next 5 or 10 years.  This classic Hollywood treasure has been professionally linen backed and looks stunning!  See enlargeable image above left.

John Wayne and James Stewart were cast together for the first time in this classic western from John Ford. As an aging senator, Ransom Stoddard (Stewart) recounts the tale of how he supposedly shot the outlaw Liberty Valence (Lee Marvin). The truth, however, is finally revealed. John Ford was the master of classic westerns and this film rates alongside The Searchers and Stagecoach as one of his greatest. And it's no coincidence that John Wayne was in all three films. Wayne would remain the premiere player of Ford's acting troupe as he embodied the iconic image of the American cowboy. This stunning three sheet with minimal wear remains one of the best posters ever created for this classic western. The poster had a few pinholes in the borders and some very minor wear to the fold lines. Very Fine on Linen.
