Starring Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, Bobby Jordan, Noah Beery, Sr., Lita Ward, Benny Bartlett, Rick Vallin, William 'Billy' Benedict, and Martha Wentworth. Directed by William Beaudine. A restored poster that displays signs of use. The borders have been touched up to correct fold wear, some small chips, and tears. Amazing Original 100% Un-Restored Condition, with spectacular bright colors, and minor border wear. Only a single pinhole at top corner borders. But, surprisingly Not fold splitting or brittleness as you would see in 95% of one sheets of this age. Opening the poster feels tight like an unused poster would feel.
Clancy Street Boys is a 1943 comedy film directed by William Beaudine and starring the East Side Kids. It is Beaudine's first film with the team; he would direct several more in the series and many in the Bowery Boys canon. Leo Gorcey married the female lead Amelita Ward. There is no mention of "Clancy Street" in the film, but a rival gang at Cherry Street appears at the beginning and climax of the film.
