"HELP", 1964
Original lobby card
Starring The Beatles
1964 - A great close-up shot of the "Beatles" . Excellent scene and one of the more rare lobby cards of this set.
Help! (United Artists, 1965). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). Rock and Roll.
Starring The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr), Leo McKern, Eleanor Bron, Victor Spinetti, and Roy Kinnear. Directed by Richard Lester.
The Beatles second film has the Fab Four being chased to exotic locales around the world. The cause of their troubles is Ringo, who has accidentally put on the victim's ceremonial ring!
After the day-in-the-life humor of A Hard Day's Night, the Beatles and director Richard Lester upped the madcap quotient for the Fab Four's second theatrical film, Ringo is pursued by a bizarre religious cult that wants - what else? - one of his rings. Songs include "Ticket to Ride" and "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away," in addition to the classic title tune.
Condition Issues: Good-Very GoodCondition with typical theater used pin holes at corners, small holes from display pins in upper left and lower left corners and a 5" piece of white tape at top right not affecting the image area which could easily be removed. . See enlargeable image above
