The Mummy's Curse, 1944
Original Vintage Movie Theater Movie Poster One Sheet
Starring Lon Chaney (as the Mummy)

Not Just Horror Cinema History,  but Spectacular Luxury Home Decor!

A first for CVTreasures

Here is a most stunning classic horror movie poster I have been chasing for about the past 30 years.   One of the most aesthetically beautiful posters you’ll ever find.  The 1951 Re-release of this 1944 “Mummy’s Curse” classic, the artwork is (IMO) even is better than the 1942 one sheet.   The large striking image of Lon Chaney as the Mummy is traffic stopping spine-chilling.

Condition:   The gem of a find is in Amazing Very Good-Excellent 100% Original Un-Restored condition.  Most of these that have appeared on the market over the past few decades required restoration, some extensive to look as good as this UN-restored beauty!  Those spectacular colors you see in the image are Original, Not touched up or air brushed over.

The Mummy's Curse (Realart, R-1951). Folded, Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Starring Lon Chaney Jr., Peter Coe, Virginia Christine, Kay Harding, Dennis Moore, and Martin Kosleck. Directed by Leslie Goodwins. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as edge and fold wear, minor toning, creasing, paper tape on the verso, and unobtrusive smudging.

In Lon Chaney Jr's final appearance as Kharis, the Mummy comes to life once again seeking his lost love Ananka in (of all places) the swamps of Louisiana. It was an unlikely location for the last in the Mummy series, but audiences didn't care as long as the shock and horror of the Mummy stalked the screen. This ghoulish one sheet is one of the best posters in the series, a format that does not surface often.
