Authentic Signed Autographed Personal Stationary Card, 1975 

 

Amazing John Wayne Autographed letter on his personal Letterhead Card.  Beautiful bold vintage Genuine signature

Note that this card has been personally autographed (signed) by John Wayne! The recipient a friend and/or associate of Mr Wayne comes with the original post dated 1975 envelop.  Included with the card is also an admission ticket to the John Wayne Birthplace Museum!

I have owned three other John Wayne personal letterhead cards like this and each seemed to be reserved for personal friends and associates and ALL were authentically signed, NOT by his secretary Pat Stacey.  Mr Wayne started using this card style letter stationary in the early-mid 1970s.    He had semi retired and was signing most of his fan correspondence himself. Prior to that when he was much busier he employed a secretary to sign his autograph requests. Most of the secretarial signatures I’ve seen over the past 40 years have been on photos.  He would also hand out pre-printed business cards with a printed signature on the back, instead of having to stop and sign autographs everywhere e went. 

Here is a gorgeous mint authentic signature that we suspect would grade a 10/10!

Note: I have collected John Wayne autographs for 40 years and wrote a signature study on him several years ago.
