Thunder Birds (20th Century Fox, 1942). One Sheet (27" X 41"). War. Starring Gene Tierney, Preston S. Foster, John Sutton, Jack Holt, Dame May Whitty, George Barbier, Richard Haydn, Janis Carter, Bess Flowers, Peter Lawford, and Harry Strang. Directed by William Wellman. Gorgeous stone litho artwork. Folded, Very Fine-.

This is one of the beautiful Fox stone litho one sheets they continued to produce long after the other studios had given it up due to the expense of the printing process. This was one of the young star's, Gene Tierney, early roles and is about flight training at Thunderbird Field, Arizona in 1942 at the height of WWII. The colors on this sheet are gorgeous!
