One of the most dramatic and stunning images ever created for Bela Lugosi.  Original painting by Award Winning Fantasy Artist Michael Calandra whose artwork has been featured on several major magazine covers like "Heavy Metal".    I acquired this and an equally astonishing Boris Karloff as "Frankenstein" from Mr Calandra in 2001..  I have personally never seen an equal Quality painting of Lugosi or Karloff in my 35 years collecting!

Both this Bela Lugosi as "Dracula" and the Karloff piece are two prized pieces of my collection that I never intended on selling.  But, my wife and kids are not as enamored with these two horror legends as I and displaying them in my home or office has always faced resistance. My daughter claims "Dracula"  Bela gives her nightmares, hence he and Boris have been stored away for the past 5-6 years.   In addition, as we relocate to Florida , it may be the best time to let these two personal gems go.    If they don't sell at least I can show my wife I tried ...;)   

 As you can see from the enlargeable images above and below this original artwork of Bela Lugosi is breath taking!   Bright colors, and a particularly chilling stare  from Lugosi's steely blue eyes is memorizing.   Michael Calandra said he wanted to give Lugosi a unique memorable twist with bright blue eyes.    Nicely framed and in mint condition
