One of the most spectacular King Kong lobby cards ever created for this iconic classic Horror masterpiece!

Offered here is a vintage original 11 x 14 in. U.S. lobby card from KING KONG, produced by RKO in 1933 (with David O. Selznick as Executive Producer) and co-directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. This lobby card is from RKO's 1956 theatrical re-release of the film, which was one of several theatrical re-releases of this extremely popular and iconic horror film. This is one of the most popular of the re-release lobby cards due to the superior artwork, colors and the fantastic border art of Kong climbing up the side of the card. This great reissue card features the climatic end of this classic film as King Kong battles the biplanes as he stands atop the Empire State Building in New York City. Card has staple holes in the corners, light staining on bottom border and a light crease at top border. That said excellent condition nad one of the most stunning of all the Kong lobby cards and one of the very best scenes at the film's Climax atop the Empire State building with attack planes moving toward the giant ape..
