Here is an original lobby card you will not see very often.   One of the most memorable Humphrey Bogart classics Maltese Falcon.   Vintage original movie paper from this title is very elusive as the majority of movie paper of this era fell victim to the WWII War paper drives.   This is only the 2nd original lobby card we have ever acquired from the film in 36 years collecting.   A real beauty to add to yur collection!

Although Dashiell Hammett's novel had been filmed twice before - once under its familiar title in 1931, and once as Satan Met a Lady in 1936 - it was this version that became definitive, thanks to perfect casting and the sure hand of John Huston in the director's chair. Humphrey Bogart was a star in 1941, but it was this movie that made him a superstar and a true Hollywood immortal. It's one of Bogie's best, and one of the most difficult of his films from which to find paper. This lobby card has an image clean of defects, and shows one pinhole in the center of the upper border, a small tear in the right border, corner bumps, and light stains and smudges in the borders.
