Note:  Six sheets typically are in 3 or 4 sections and often in rough shape due to handling the large sections. Particularly a nearly 80 year old poster.    So linen backing is an extraordinary  solution to preserving and restoring the expected flaw and results in a beautiful presentation.   And can be rolled and stored easily when not displaying. . Six Sheet linen backing alone costs around $500-1000

Size: 81" X 78.75

Action in the North Atlantic (Warner Brothers, 1943). Linen-backed Six Sheet (81" X 78.75").
A merchant marine ship captained by Raymond Massey is torpedoed while delivering supplies to America's Russian allies. After a narrow escape, the courage of Massey and his first mate Humphrey Bogart inspire the survival of their crew. Upon returning to America, they are given a command of a new ship and a dangerous new mission which returns them to the North Atlantic.
Raymond Massey, as Captain Steve Jarvis, and his first mate Lieutenant Joe Rossi (Humphrey Bogart) are on a dangerous mission aboard a merchant marine vessel bound from Halifax to Murmansk. It was all part of Warner's huge "back the war effort" during WWII and showed the hazards of the merchant marines during the war.
Humphrey Bogart, Raymond Massey, Alan Hale, Ruth Gordon, and Julie Bishop.    Partial restoration has addressed edge and fold wear, some fold separations, and creasing. Light touchup has been applied to moderate tears and chips.   Has been professionally linen backed.
