1926 Vintage photograph of magician Harry Houdini as he prepared to be sealed into an airtight coffin and lowered into the Shelton Hotel Pool in New York City on August 8, 1926 for his latest escape trick. An incredible rarity and a pose that we have never seen before, this captures Houdini up close and ready to risk his life for the crowd. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a paper caption as well, this is a fantastic piece of history that is being offered here for the first time ever!
