One of the seminal events of the 20th century, the image evokes tons of emotion and reminds us of the frailty of life as well as the technological advancements that made it possible to capture this event on film. A bold and deep image in fine condition, this is fresh out of the King Features newspaper archive and was the example they used in publication after they ran stories in 1937 about the event!
