One of the most spectacular King Kong lobby card movie posters ever created for this iconic classic Horror masterpiece!

Offered here is a vintage original 11 x 14 in. U.S. lobby card from KING KONG, produced by RKO in 1933 (with David O. Selznick as Executive Producer) and co-directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. This lobby card is from RKO's 1956 theatrical re-release of the film, which was one of several theatrical re-releases of this extremely popular and iconic horror film. This is one of the most popular of the Kong lobby cards with the iconic image of Kong on top of the Empire State Building swatting at planes and of course the superior artwork, colors and the fantastic border art of Kong climbing up the side of the card. Excellent condition with just minor Vintage tape stains on borders Not affecting the spectacular image area. .  

Condition:  Vwery good-Excellent Original UN-Restored Condition. Card has one light vintage tape stain on all four borders. That said excellent condition and one of the most stunning of all the Kong lobby cards and one of the very best scenes at the film's Climax atop the Empire State building with attack planes moving toward the giant ape..

Sales History:  This card sold at auction for $780 in May 2019 and for $896.25 in 2015.

Starring Fay Wray, Robert Armstrong, Bruce Cabot, Frank Reicher, Sam Hardy, Noble Johnson, and Victor Wong. Directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. An unrestored lobby card with bright color and a clean overall appearance.
