It has been several years since we’ve been fortunate to acquire the original vintage Title lobby card for the John Wayne and John Ford epic cavalry classic, “RIO GRANDE”.     And with the spectacular art by master artist Harold von Schmidt, makes these vintage cinematic treasures particularly collectible and desirable for irresistible home decor.

The artist for poster art was Harold von Schmidt, who was an illustrator for Saturday Evening Post.

Condition: Excellent UN-restored condition with bright colors and no pinholes, tears or stains like most vintage lobby cards.   Just minor age related border wear including a couple barely visible pinholes at top border.    Most of these title and lobby cards for this 1949 flm that we have seen in the past 40 years collecting have been heavily worn and/or damaged.  This is the best Original condition we have ever seen!

* NOTE:   The back has the original Studio/NSS date stamp.  Seasoned collectors love to see these markings as an addiaiotnal layer of authenticity. 

John Ford's "Cavalry Trilogy" comes to an exciting conclusion, as John Wayne leads a troop of Union soldiers against the Apache Indians in western Texas. Maureen O'Hara also stars, with Chill Wills, Claude Jarman Jr., Harry Carey Jr., and Victor McLaglen in supporting roles. A must for Wayne collectors.

Unrestored lobby cards with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as slight edge wear.
