The Quiet Man, 1952
Original Vintage Promotional Still Photos (8x10")
Starring John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara
Here's an unusual and exciting discovery! We recently acquired a group of about 23 Original Vintage "Quiet Man" theater used promotional still photos. These are quite Rare as we have never had original promotional stills before for this film, although we've had several lobby cards. Even more exciting is that many or most of these photos are scenes that we're never seen in any of the movie posters and lobby cards. Hence this photo collection captures scenes never before seen on any other vintage movie paper.
Photos are in very good to excellent condition with many having pinholes on corners, a few having border chips. Also on the back many have studio stamps originating from Studios in Europe where this film first premiered in June 1952. It did not premier in the US until August 1952.
These originals photo stills are high quality and original 1952, NOT reproductions or re-releases. It is the first time we have seen them in our 40 years collecting. Quite nice over all condition for these nearly 70 year old photos ! Most have pinholes on corners from actual theater use.
Size: 8x10” each.
Note: The price is for EACH photo, $125 each. We have 23 spectacular vintage photos to choose from.Just specify in your Order Notes which number you want. **We know the higher demand will be for the photos showing John Wayne and they'll sell first. So feel free to make an offer for the secondary photos that do NOT show the Duke.
Note: #1, 14, 23 are sold
