Truly Rare 1st Edition Charles Scribner's Sons The Rough Riders by Theodore Roosevelt published in 1899. The account of Roosevelt's exploits with his band of Rough Riders during the Spanish American War. This is the sought after 1st edition with numerous real photos of Roosevelt and his men.
This account of future president T.R. is quite rare and the condition of this volume makes it even more desirable. I have seen 1st edition books at rare booksellers sites on the web and ebay at over $1000.00 with the condition is not as good as this book. This is rare opportunity to add a fine example of Teddy Roosevelt's historical Rough Riders to your collection.
Condition: Very good, the cover shows only minimal wear and the spine text is all there, not rubbed or torn off like most of these that appear on the market. Binder is slightly loose but still attached. A small thin paint mark on cover to right of the authors name. The wax paper that covers the main image on first page is fully attached.
