A particularly Rare Vintage Fight poster featuring an intimidating Sonny Liston vs Floyd Patterson. Clay who just beat Sonny Liston would prove to be too much for Patterson, who Liston easily destroyed.   This is the first we have owned or even seen this Sonny Liston and Floyd Patterson original vintage 1962 fight poster. . A must have for the vintage boxing fan and collector.  Excellent condition and professionally linen backed, as you can see from the enlargeable images.

Patterson would lose the title by a devastating first round Lisotn knockout.  Sonny Liston would then fight a young figter named Cassius Clay, and the rest is history.

It was September 25, 1962 when Floyd Patterson and Sonny Liston stepped into the ring for a heavyweight championship bout. But in one round, it was all over. Patterson was sent crashing to the floor, the punching bag for Liston's devastating blows. This poster promises the "round-by-round" action that was rapidly diminished to one round action.
