The Zachary Taylor papier-mâché snuff box is a notable example of mid-19th-century American political memorabilia, crafted around the time of Taylor's 1848 presidential campaign. These snuff boxes, typically measuring approximately 3.25 to 3.5 inches in diameter, feature a bust of General Zachary Taylor on the lid, accompanied by inscriptions such as "Old Rough and Ready" and "The Hero of the War with Mexico," referencing his popular nickname and military achievements during the Mexican-American War.   Great artwork of Taylor on the lid. 

NOTE:  Due to Taylor being assassinated only two years into Office,  there is very little artifacts from his campaign and Presidency

Condition:   Light grazing, minor smudging.   But overall extraordinary condition.
