Found on Dillinger after he was shot to death

 

Scarce, Original, Vintage 1934 Acme Press/Wire photo featuring John “Dillinger sweetheart” Mary Longnecker. According to attached promo paper, “This photo was found in Dillinger’s watch” after he had been slain in Chicago. (The top part of the promo paper mistakenly identifies the woman as Evelyn Frechetti, this is corrected by additional promo papers attached below the first. See images below.)

Dated 7/22 & 7/27/34; size measures 6” x 8”; original Acme promo paper is attached to the back. This is an ORIGINAL, VINTAGE press photo from the files of the defunct Cleveland Press, NOT a reprint or copy!
