Muhammad Ali vs Jerry Quarry Boxing Poster, 1970

1970 Muhammad Ali vs Jerry Quarry I Boxing Poster. On October 26, 1970, Muhammad Ali made his comeback in the sport of boxing after a three year forced retirement due to his opposition to the war in Vietnam. Ali, still the people's champion, returned to the ring at the Atlanta City Auditorium against tough "Irish" Jerry Quarry. Despite the long layoff and the difficulty of his opponent, Ali emerged with a relatively easy third round TKO victory. Closed circuit TV poster for a viewing at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

This 14" x 22" cardboard poster pictures full body poses of the fighters and exhibits slight fading from age. Some fading and edge wear as this was actually hung for display.
